HAL® Sensoren der 37xy-Familie

Micronas HAL® 37xy Series Sensors are the second generation of sensors to utilize Micronas' proprietary 3D HAL technology. 3D HAL technology offers improved angular performance with 30% lower angular error than the first generation. This technology also operates with magnetic fields down to ±20mT. The sensors can measure B_X, B_Y, and B_Z magnetic field components to enable a set of potential applications for position detection. On-chip signal processing calculates the angle out of two of the magnetic field components and converts this value into an output signal.

The HAL 37xy sensors exhibit excellent drift performance over the specified temperature range. The drift performance gives a new class of accuracy for angular or linear measurements and features an arbitrarily programmable stepwise linear characteristic for linearization of the output signal. Major characteristics can be adjusted to the magnetic circuit by programming the nonvolatile memory. The sensors also contain on-board diagnostic features that enhance fail-safe detection. The HAL 37xy Series are designed for automotive and industrial applications. The junction temperature range operates from -40ºC to 170ºC.
