The Dialog DA14531 SmartBond TINY SoC, available from Mouser Electronics, achieves a low system cost through a high level of integration. The SoC is based on an Arm^® Cortex^®-M0+ microcontroller with a complete set of analog and digital peripherals, and incorporates a 2.4 GHz transceiver in a minuscule form factor of just 2.0 × 1.7 mm. By adding just six external passives, a crystal oscillator, and power source, designers can build a complete Bluetooth Low Energy system for applications such as asset tracking, RFID tags, beacons, wearables, medical, and automotive applications.
