Vicharak Maypole Wireless USB Flash Memory Stick

Thanks to its built-in LiPo battery, the Maypole can be used to back up data without even plugging it in. It can also be loaded up with files which can then be distributed to others in a small group setting, without the malware risks that come from sharing a USB drive. The Maypole can also be plugged into any printer with a USB port, enabling others to wirelessly print. 

Almost any device that can accept information from a USB port can be used with the Maypole. Examples include sewing machines, CNC routers, laser cutters, car stereos, digital picture frames, laboratory equipment, video projectors, and bench-top tools. The Maypole can even be used with USB cameras for data storage and transfer.

The Vicharak Maypole is based on an open hardware design and is driven by open-source software, giving users the freedom to tinker. Using C/C++, MicroPython, or Lua, and a variety of cross-platform IDEs, including Arduino, VScode, PlatformIO, and Eclipse, users can customize its behavior, add functionality, or extend the platform.

The Vicharak Maypole is offered in three variants:

• Maypole With Battery (CS-MAYPOLE-01): Includes a 3.7V, 370mAh LiPo battery and charging circuitry, enabling the user to upload and download files while the Maypole is unplugged
• Maypole Without Battery (CS-MAYPOLE-02): If the Maypole will only be used to transfer files while connected to a host device, the user can skip the battery to save on size, weight, and cost
• Maypole With Programmer, No Battery (CS-MAYPOLE-03): One Maypole (without battery) connected by six pre-soldered wires to an FTDI Programmer Board with a MiniUSB port; Includes a MiniUSB to USB Type-A cable
