Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si82x Isolated Gate Drivers
Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si82x Isolated Gate Drivers are single-channel isolated gate drivers for various power applications. These devices have single or split outputs, allowing for independent control of the output rise and fall times. These drivers can operate with a 3V to 20V input supply and a maximum gate driver supply voltage of 30V. The inputs are CMOS, which provides a robust noise margin.
Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si82x Isolated Gate Drivers are ideal for driving power silicon MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC FETs, and GaN FETs used in various switched power and motor control applications. These drivers utilize Skyworks' proprietary silicon isolation technology, supporting up to 6kVRMS for 1-minute isolation voltage. This technology enables high CMTI (200kV/µs), lower propagation delays and skew, slight variation with temperature and age, and tight part-to-part matching. The Si82x family offers longer service life and higher reliability than optocoupled gate drivers.
