Der NXP PCA9956B 24-Kanal-LED-Treiber ist ein I²C-Bus-gesteuerter Konstantstrom-Treiber zum Dimmen und Blinken von roten, grünen, blauen und gelben RGBA-LEDs mit 57mA. Jeder LED-Ausgang hat seinen eigenen individuellen PWM-Controller mit festgelegter Frequenz und 8-Bit Auflösung (256 Stufen), der bei 31,25kHz mit einem von 0% bis 100% einstellbaren Arbeitszyklus funktioniert, um zu ermöglichen, dass die LED auf einen bestimmten Helligkeitswert eingestellt werden kann. Eine zusätzliche PWM-Reglergruppe mit 8-Bit-Auflösung (256 Stufen) bietet sowohl eine feste Frequenz von 122Hz und eine einstellbare Frequenz zwischen 15Hz und einmal alle 16,8 Sekunden bei einem von 0% bis 99,6% einstellbaren Tastverhältnis, das verwendet wird, um alle LEDs mit dem gleichen Wert zu dimmen oder blinken zu lassen.

  • Open/short load/overtemperature detection mode to detect individual LED errors
  • 1MHz Fast-mode Plus compatible I²C-bus interface with 30mA high drive capability on SDA output for driving high capacitive buses
