LITEON Integrated Gate Drive Photocouplers

LITEON Integrated Gate Drive Photocouplers are ideally suited for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor control inverter applications and inverters in power supply systems. The LITEON photocouplers contain an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. The LTV-155E features a high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of ±20kV/μs and operates within a wide supply voltage range, making it suitable for noisy industrial environments. The LTV-3120 optocouplers deliver a 2.5A peak output current capable of directly driving most IGBTs with ratings up to 1200V/100A. Meanwhile, the LTV-3150 and LTV-3150-L offer rail-to-rail output, under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection, and fast switching speeds, supporting a peak output current of up to 1.0A. These photocouplers are ideal for use in motor drives, inverters, and switching power supplies, where reliable isolation and efficient gate control are critical. Compact packaging and compliance with safety standards, such as UL and VDE, further enhance the appeal for high-performance, space-constrained designs.
