Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Type 12 Mild Steel Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Series Type 12 Mild Steel Enclosures are designed for UL 508A and CSA Type 12 and 13 standards and comply with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 (IP54) specifications, depending on the model. These wall-mount and free-standing enclosures are designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic, or pneumatic controls and instruments, providing protection from falling dirt, dust, oil, and water. The enclosures are constructed from 12- and 14-gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts, or holes. The oil-resistant gaskets are permanently secured to the enclosure. Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Series Type 12 Mild Steel Enclosures include a grounding stud inside, a bonding stud on the door, and one or two literature pockets inside the door.
