ams OSRAM SFH 4451 High Power Mini MIDLED IR Emitter LED features a low profile, the highest radiant intensity of its size class, and Molded Interconnected Device (MID) package technology. The infrared Mini MIDLED is only 0.9mm high but this tiny device produces a narrow and intense beam of infrared light. The half-angle of 17º creates a narrow light beam and a radiant intensity of 60mW/sr at 100mA. This low-profile surface-mountable emitter is particularly ideal for applications in devices where space is limited, such as light barriers, smartphones, and optical touch screens.
