Mouser Electronics Offers Full Support to Shanghai Jiao Tong University Racing Team

Mouser Electronics is proud to announce its support for the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Racing Team in Formula Student China (FSC). The Shanghai Jiao Tong University Racing Team sponsored by Mouser is one of China’s first teams to participate in the Formula SAE in the United States, which the team fought for glory in the 2015 season with their newly designed racing car.

Formula Student China is a car design and manufacturing competition for university students in automobile engineering or automobile related majors. It began in the FSAE, a world-class student-level Formula One racing event. Since the establishment of the FSC in 2010, the scale of the event has continued to expand each year; there were 102 teams participating in the event in 2015. During the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Racing Team’s pursuit of glory, Mouser’s small-scale express supply of electronic components will provide the team with great convenience in the research and development of the racing car, and the prompt delivery of new products will provide the team with strong support, while designing better stability and handling performance to build the car up to peak performance in the competition.

There is no doubt that forming a team to design and build a pure and high-performance racing car is a challenging yet fulfilling process for university students, whose knowledge of cars only comes from books and personal driving experience. As part of its campus plan, Mouser hopes to use its strong base in the realm of electronic components to help students realize their dreams.
