Delta Electronics V48SD Brick DC/DC Converters
Delta Electronics V48SD Brick DC/DC Converters feature a compact 1/16th brick footprint with a high isolated input range and a pre-biased startup. The converters offer a fixed frequency operation and a 20% max output current range. The Delta Electronics V48SD Brick DC/DC Converters are fully protected against input undervoltage lockout (UVLO), input overtemperature (OTP), output overcurrent (OCP), and output overvoltage (OVP). With 60W and 120W output power models, typical applications include networking, telecom, servers, and data storage.
The OCP circuit endures current limiting for unlimited duration during output overload and shuts down (hiccup mode) when the output current exceeds the OCP set point. The OVP circuit monitors the voltage on the output terminals, shuts down if the voltage exceeds the overvoltage set point, and restarts after a hiccup time. The OTP consists of circuitry that protects from thermal damage.
