Texas Instruments TPS7H5101EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPS7H5101EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to evaluate the TPS7H5101-SEP. The TPS7H5101-SEP is a dual-phase D-CAP+™ buck converter designed for high-current loads at low output voltages. The controller is optimized for 80A at 0.8V for point-of-load power delivery, using two TPS7H6200-SEP devices to accomplish the power conversion. The evaluation module uses the advanced control features of the D-CAP+ architecture, which support a fast transient response with low output capacitance and high efficiency. The Texas Instruments TPS7H5101EVM further utilizes DROOP compensation to enable even lower output capacitance, meeting low output-voltage tolerances.

Features

  • D-CAP+ control for optimal load response
  • ±1% reference voltage accuracy
  • Differential remote sensing
  • Droop regulation for optimized AC response

Applications

  • Point-of-load power supplies
