Texas Instruments TRF2001 ISM Band Multiprotocol and Wi-SUN RF FEM is a high-performance RF Front-End Module (FEM) for low-power wireless applications in the sub-1GHz band. This device operates over an 860MHz to 930MHz frequency range, a 3.1V to 4.25V supply voltage, and a 0.05µA low-sleep-mode current. The TRF2001 FEM requires minimal external BOM and includes range-extender PA and LNA, transmit-receive and antenna switches, antenna port low-pass filter, and a linear-indB RF power detector. This device increases the link budget and extends range in wireless systems by providing high output power via the integrated power amplifier. The TRF2001 ISM band multiprotocol and Wi-SUN RF FEM is available in a cost-effective design in a space-saving 4.5mm x 4.5mm QFN-28 package. Typical applications include smart data concentrators and collectors, energy infrastructure wireless communications, wireless building automation systems, wireless field transmitters and sensors, and wireless EV charging stations.
