Die 8-Bit D-Flip-Flops SN74AHCT273/SN74AHCT273-Q1 von Texas Instruments umfassen acht taktflankengesteuerte D-Flip-Flops mit direktem Clear-(CLR)-Eingang. Diese Bauteile sind für die Speicherung und Synchronisierung digitaler Daten über acht Kanäle konzipiert. Jedes Flipflop verfügt über einen eigenen Dateneingang (D) und -Ausgang (Q), während alle Flip-Flops ein gemeinsames Takt- (CLK) und Löschsignal (CLR) nutzen. Die Ausgänge ändern ihren Zustand bei der steigenden Flanke des Taktsignals, vorausgesetzt, der Clear-Eingang ist inaktiv (high). Wenn der Clear-Eingang aktiviert ist (Low-Pegel), werden alle Ausgänge asynchron auf Low zurückgesetzt – unabhängig von den Takt- oder Dateneingängen. Typische Applikationen umfassen Puffer- und Speicher-Register, Server, Netzwerkschalter, Speichersysteme, Datenbanken, Mustergeneratoren und Shift-Register.
