SMTBSO™ ReelFast® Surface-Mount Fasteners

PEM SMTBSO™ ReelFast® Surface-Mount Fasteners are designed with internal blind-hole threads that securely mount onto PC boards for less risk of board damage during assembly. No PCB hole is required to solder these fasteners onto the board, and this design construction enables copper traces to run under the fastener to better utilize space in applications. The fastener cutout also provides enhanced performance by allowing for localized heat-up of the area in contact with the solder. PEM SMTBSO ReelFast Surface-Mount Fasteners feature lead-free carbon steel material with PEM "Two Groove" trademark notches for easy identification. The series is available in two options: the unified variant with a 0.112-40 (#4-40) thread size and a metric version with an M3 x 0.5 thread size x pitch.
