E Series Smartcard Connectors

Amphenol FCI E Series Smartcard Connectors offer 500K mating cycles and are ideal for applications that require high durability. The E series uses landing contacts and a sealed card detection switch. A patented landing mechanism ensures increased durability and offers an efficient mechanical solution to prevent vandalism because contacts are recessed when no card is inserted. These connectors are suitable for heavy-duty systems and have the ability for direct connection to PCB (through-hole or SMT) or via a flexible printed circuit. Amphenol FCI E Series Smartcard Connectors also withstand harsh environments.
