Ambiq Apollo2 System-on-Chips
Ambiq Apollo2 System-on-Chips offer ultra-low power and high integration for battery-powered and portable mobile devices. The Apollo2 SoCs utilize Ambiq's patented Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT®) and a powerful Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor with a Floating Point Unit. These features dramatically reduce energy consumption while allowing abundant application processing power, adding excellent capability and extended life to battery-operated devices. With outstanding energy efficiency, the Apollo2 can supply always-on keyword detection and voice assistant integration, local voice control, complex sensor processing, gesture recognition, and activity monitoring applications on a small power budget. The Ambiq Apollo2 SoCs are the 2nd generation controller adding to the Apollo SoC product family. The Apollo2 SoCs integrate up to 1MB of flash memory and 256KB of RAM to permit radio and sensor overhead while leaving plenty of space for application code and algorithms. In addition to flexible serial channels for radio and sensor communication, the devices also include dual PDM inputs for applications that require digital microphones for near and mid-field always-on keyword detection, voice assistant integration, and voice control.
