Das QWKS-SCMIMX6DQ ist für ein einfacheres Produktdesign ausgelegt und dient Entwicklern als Beispiel für einen schnellen Einstieg in die SCM-Bauteile. Die QWKS-SCMIMX6DQ Hardware ist mit dem Arduino™-R3-Pin-Layout Formfaktor-kompatibel und bietet eine große Auswahl von Erweiterungsboard-Optionen. Die On-Board-Schnittstellen umfassen einen HDMI-Ausgang, eine LVDS-Touch-Displayschnittstelle, ein USB OTG, zwei SD-Kartensteckplätze und einen MIPI-CSI-Kamerasteckverbinder. NXP bietet Referenz-Hardware-Designdateien und ein Board-Support-Paket (BSP) für Linux.
